AI Hackathon Summer 2025 (Telemax & HBLAB) – Pioneering AI Solutions for Businesses

On April 2-3, 2025, HBLAB was honored to co-host the AI Hackathon alongside our partner, Telemax. This intense programming competition brought together software engineers from HBLAB and Telemax to tackle real-world challenges using AI-powered solutions.

Within a tight 24-hour timeframe, two competing teams leveraged AI tools to optimize work efficiency. Notably, participating members are only allowed to use AI tools such as Cursor, DeepSeek, and Replit to solve the problem posed by the challenge in the most automated and optimal way.

Telemax is a leading Australian private company specializing in wireless positioning technology (GPS) and vehicle management and operation services. HBLAB is a key strategic partner, supporting Telemax in software development, especially in the field of AI.

🔹Event Information:

Time: 09:00, April 2nd – 09:00, April 3rd, 2025 

🎯 Topic: Creating GPS-based toll payment solutions 

🏆 Prize: 500 USD 

💪 Participating Teams Include:  H Team and T Team

(Each team consisted of 5 members, including 2 representatives from Telemax and 8 representatives from HBLAB).

Throughout the competition, the teams worked with focus and professionalism, demonstrating strong teamwork and high determination. Each member constantly sought optimal and innovative solutions to address the given problem. More than just a technology competition, the AI Hackathon was an opportunity for members to interact, learn, and challenge themselves with real-world problems in a short timeframe. In particular, the results from the competition will directly contribute to a real-world project that HBLAB is implementing for Telemax, bringing practical value and high applicability.

Most notably, the solutions developed during this competition will be directly integrated into an actual project that HBLAB is currently executing for Telemax—ensuring practical value and high applicability.

With 8 years of experience in AI implementation, the project implementation team from HBLAB consists of experts, including PhD and Master’s degree holders in AI. HBLAB is always a pioneer in researching and applying new technologies. Leveraging technology, resources, and experience, along with the ability to quickly handle practical problems across various fields, has helped HBLAB create a distinct competitive advantage in the industry.

This AI Hackathon not only demonstrates HBLAB’s technological capabilities to its client Telemax but also firmly affirms its ability to meet the stringent requirements of the international market, opening up more development opportunities for HBLAB in the future.
